NameFind is a GUI for the Unix "find" command-line tool, installed by default on Mac OS X. It provides fast, simple searches for files by name in a specific directory. Enter a search term, specify your search directory, and run the search query: NameFind will present a list of all files that match the search name.

To install NameFind, download the latest version. It can be installed anywhere on your machine. The download is a 30-day demo; you can purchase a license to use the program past the 30-day trial period. Mac OS X 10.5 is the minimum supported platform.
Namefind 4.0 is a free upgrade to users with a valid serial number.
